All the folks complaining about Alexi being interrupted, is rubbish, i guarantee you he loved the way this interview was conducted, hes a business man, not an entertainer, infact is quite opposite in that he would be upset if he were brought out and had no direction and no comments would make it very awkward given hes not an entertainer, and this isn't Alexi personal advertisement commercial, its for entertainment and some information in a entertaining manner, she did a great professional job

The most important thing is that you are happy with the name choice for your yacht. I certainly agree with your selection criteria that the name be one word (not too lengthy) and something that can be easily pronounced and spelled internationally. It’s easy to discern that you gave your name choice a lot of consideration. I’m excited to see a complete walkthrough and review when it is completed. The sea trials will also be amazing to see!! ⚓️

WRONG thats the old Greek name for Diamonds , Diamas is the Late Latin name (diamas,) from Latin adamas, from Ancient Greek ἀδάμας (adámas, “diamond”). … Duh 🙄..

Adamas is actually Greek and means unconquerable or indestructible. In ancient Greek it never meant Diamond but may have been refering to the most indestructabke material known at the time and therefore it's origin. Also steel had not been invented in those times so cannot have reference to this modern material. Still a cool name.

I wish the world had many more Alexi. He really does everything right and he is really an open nice down to earth man. If I had the money I would have bought a Bering 65 or 88. I have a hard time seeing anyone build something better for the same money . Extremely much more money to be able to beat Bering on the fingers.

Hi Guys, beautiful name! My only remark is that adamas is a Greek word... 🙂 It goes back to Homer's Iliad as a name of one of Trojan heroes and in Greek it means a valuable gem, thus diamond. It is the root of diamond as a word. The "d" is pronounced as "th" like in o"th"er.

When I watch the antics on "The Haulover" - I really wonder whether the training for Captain in the US and the "Licence" is really worth even the INK that it is written with. Personally, I would not trust any so called "Captains" to take me onto the calmest seas. Here in the UK, RYA Yachtmaster and Skipper Certificates are rarely questioned anywhere in the world, simply due to the course being EARNED and STUDIED for, many fail to qualify, training is the watchword. The problem in the US, is the word "Captain", that needs to be downgraded to put the "Captain Pugwash" types into their rightful place (sadly according to the videos - ("Total Idiot Captain, might be a more appropriate title for 99% or them). Call them Skipper and they might strive to become Captains!!

let me help out if I pull into a boat slip and it's a 50 foot slip and I'm 53 trust me they are ok with 3 feet best way is this most if not all boat marine places are 100% ok with 1 foot to 3 to 4 feet over or under but once in a blue moon u will have jerk boat marine best way is what I do I stay out at sea and use my ding ding lol but I do have solar and batteries that will last for well ever along as sun comes up but captain license are really a must better for insurance and just the ed on boat life

fact just because a boat says its a 55 or 60 or 80 does NOT MEAN ITS THAT LONG AND ON REGULATIONS IF U HAVE A CLASS A THEN IF ITS 50 TO 160 ITS CLASS A STOP PEOPLE MESSING WITH MY NAUTI folks
